These are just a few things to consider in advance of posting your confession.
Can I confess about TV shows that involve theatre (Glee, Smash, etc.)
Only if the confession directly relates back to theatre. For example you could confess about how you liked/hated the portrayal of theatre professionals on Smash but you should not confess about how you like/don’t like certain characters or plotlines. It is up to the discretion of the Admin to decide whether a confession regarding these topics is admissable
Can I confess about Starkid Productions?
Yes we do accept confessions about Starkid Productions. Even though they are on the internet, the videos are of live productions. We do not accept confessions about Apocalyptour or the Space Tour.
Can I confess about a director/stage manager/Master Electrician/Etc. I am working with?
Yes, you may HOWEVER we will NOT accept confessions that disclose personal information, so no names of people or theaters. It’s a small business and we don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings or damage anyone’s reputation. Also remember, you never know who is on the internet so if you share a specific story about a situation please keep in mind that it could get traced back to you if the right person reads it and puts two and two together so use your own personal discretion.
Where do you get your photos?
I mostly find them on Tumblr or on Google, it depends on what I feel the confession calls for. I will not that I do not personally own ANY of the photos that I use in these confessions. Unfortunately, since I get most of them off of Tumblr or from random website, it’s hard to credit them. So if you see a picture that is yours, or you know who took it just let me know and I will be happy to add their credit to the confession. Or if you (or they) would prefer that the picture not be used then I will delete the picture and find a replacement for that confession!
